Two days ago, Foot Mercato reported Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are pushing to sign Lyon’s Rayan Cherki in the winter market.

RMC Sport now mention Liverpool as a candidate to sign the 21-year-old when discussing PSG’s plans for January.
The focus is on the Ligue 1 winners’ desire to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray. They are also looking to sign a winger to provide competition to Bradley Barcola.

It’s claimed the France U21 international has other offers and Liverpool are mentioned immediately. This suggests the Reds made an offer for the Lyon star, who managed five goals and seven assists this season.
In fact, Arne Slot’s side are the only team named as they have ‘positioned themselves’ to sign him.
