Mohamed Salah has been in fine form for Liverpool and Egypt in October as the forward has scored five goals and registered two assists in his last four appearances.
In the Merseyside club’s 4-1 victory over Cardiff City, the former AS Roma star opened the scoring before setting up his side’s third and the fourth goal for Xherdan Shaqiri and Sadio Mane respectively.
His latest display against the Welsh club has seen him make it to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Weak and the Egyptian attacker has received a rating of eight.
Mane, who scored a brace against Cardiff, lost out a place in Gazzetta’s European Team of the Week as the other two forwards in the list are Barcelona’s Luis Suarez and Iago Aspas of Celta Vigo as the latter two were rated nine.
Jurgen Klopp and the supporters of the Premier League club would be delighted with the 26-year-old’s recent goal scoring run, and he has taken his overall tally for this season to seven goals and three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.
