Gleison Bremer’s season for Torino has been resulting in several rumours about his future, especially regarding a transfer to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has been said to be chased by several clubs, including Liverpool, with reports from Italy repeatedly claiming the Reds are monitoring his potential at the Serie A side.
Now as we see an update on the situation today, outlet TuttoMercatoWeb says Tottenham have also joined the race for the defender.
Their report starts by confirming the interest from Liverpool, claiming the Reds and Napoli have ’emerged in recent days’.
Then they add that Bremer’s name is also ‘appreciated by Tottenham’, and since the Brazilian knows how to lead a three-men defence and Antonio Conte is in need of a player of his characteristics, he now becomes a target.
It’s just not made clear how strong Tottenham’s interest is compared to Liverpool’s, although Spurs can probably now be considered as the Reds’ rivals for the signing.
Since Bremer’s contract with Torino expires in 2021, a sale in 2022 seems a likely scenario.
That’s also a reason why the Italian media recently pointed out that he can be signed for as little as €10m.
