In need of a reinforcement down the wings, Leicester City turned their attention to Galatasaray in the summer, bringing in Yunus Akgün on loan with an option to buy.
The move will automatically be made permanent if certain goals are met, but that has yet to be the case, as pointed out by Aksam.
The outlet have an article on the Leicester player and cover what his future may look like, with a return to his home club a possibility.
Aksam point out that because of this, the 23-year-old will ‘likely be on his way back’ to Galatasaray at the end of the season.
That being said, if Leicester are impressed with him, they can still choose to buy him by paying the amount in the clause, but it’s made clear the Championship side ‘have not made a decision’ on Akgün’s future as of yet.
It would cost the Foxes €9m to make the move permanent, but with just two goals and two assists in 18 appearances this season, it would be surprising if they decided to spend that much on him even if they did end up making it to the top tier.
