According to claims in the Italian media Lugano are the latest club to show an interest in Cagliari defender Bartosz Salamon.
The Poland international has also been linked with a move to Leeds United in the past week, after reports he could be used in an exchange deal for Giuseppe Bellusci.
Corriere dello Sport have reported Salamon’s time at Cagliari is coming to an end after the Serie A side signed Marco Andreolli from Inter Milan yesterday. With the possibility of Cagliari bringing in more defensive reinforcements before the transfer deadline, Salamon is now expected to leave the Sardinian club.
The Italian newspaper claim Salamon’s likeliest destinations are Leeds United or Swiss club Lugano. Salamon have also been linked with Las Palmas and Palermo, but these rumours have gone quiet in recent days.
Last week it was claimed Leeds United could entertain signing the Salamon, with Bellusci going the other way.
Despite another Italian source linking Leeds United with Salamon, it’s hard to believe the claim if it’s not part of a deal for Bellusci.
