Dundee manager Paul Hartley has told the Scottish media none of his key players will be leaving the club this summer. Leeds United have been linked with Dundee pair Gregg Stewart and Kane Hemmings in recent weeks.
Speaking to the Dundee Eventing Telegraph after last night’s pre-season game with Dumbarton, Hartley was asked about his plans for the transfer window.
The former Scotland international confirmed no player will be sold by the club this summer, but he still expects new recruits to come in the next few days.
“There will be no players going out but we do anticipate some coming in. Hopefully, we will make progress in the next day or so. There will be more than one player coming in,” said the Dundee manager.
This will come as a blow to Leeds United as they were keen to sign Dundee’s star striker Stewart this summer. The forward was in impressive form last season for the SPL side, which has brought him the attention of other clubs.
Stewart’s teammate Hemmings has also been tracked by Leeds United, along with Championship rivals Derby County.
