As Pablo Hernandez is still to find a new club following his departure from Leeds United this summer, there are those who now want a quick response about his future.

According to a report from Super Deporte today, Spanish side Castellon are making a ‘last acceleration’ for his signing and want the matter to be sorted this week.

It’s claimed the third division club have already contacted Hernandez to know if he’d be interested in joining the club from his home town, and are still to receive an answer.

Now they should make a new approach ‘in the coming hours or days’ to know if they’re getting him or go for other targets on their list.

Hernandez left Leeds at the end of his contract this summer. He played for the Whites for five seasons and made 175 appearances for the Elland Road side.

Now at the age of 36, he could have a last shot at a club who where he’s a shareholder and his father is part of the board. But Super Deporte says ‘everything indicates’ he’s studying other possibilities as well.
