Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi ‘could be involved’ as part of a deal to help for Everton’s Anthony Gordon, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Frank Lampard knows the 28-year-old well from his time at the west London club, and the Toffees manager wants to reunite with his former forward at Everton this summer.
Over the years, the former Marseille man has been out on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Valencia, Crystal Palace and Beşiktaş.
His contract runs until 2023 and the player wants to leave the Blues on a permanent deal. Chelsea, for their part, also want to part ways with him in the current window.

Tavolieri further adds the Everton coach has ‘already validated the profile’ of the Belgium international. There could be more developments expected on this case.
Thomas Tuchel has not included Batshuayi in his squad for Chelsea’s two league games this season, even after Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner left Stamford Bridge.
It remains to be seen whether the possibility of the Belgian joining Everton depends on Gordon moving in the opposite direction.
