Rui Patrício will only leave Sporting for a top club, according to Record.
The Portuguese goalkeeper, who’s reportedly wanted by Everton, Manchester City and PSG, will only consider a move if a big project is offered to him.
Everton’s interest was originally reported by The Sun, and Manchester City talks were revealed by Record this week.
But Sporting have no intention of selling the 28-year-old. They’ve just renewed his contract until 2022, with a release clause of €40m, giving them a big margin to negotiate.
Now apart from the club’s approaches, it’s up to the goalkeeper to decide what’s a top project for him.
According to Record, Ronald Koeman and Unai Emery are said to be big fans of him after what he did at the Euros, so maybe a personal call could be what he needs to be convinced.
