Juventus are to step up their pursuit of Sampodria forward Patrick Schick, according to claims in the Italian media. The young Czech has impressed for the Serie A side this season, and he’s also being closing monitored by Tottenham Hotspur.

TMW have reported Juventus are looking to move in on Schick ahead of the summer window, and are willing to meet his €25m price. The Serie A champions have been linked with the 21-year-old in recent months, and they will look to take advantage of Pavel Nedved’s (Juventus director) close relationship with the player’s agent to secure a deal.

It’s also been reported Juventus would loan Schick back to Sampdoria for next season, so that he continues his development.

Earlier in the week we covered reports from Italy that Tottenham sent a scout to the game between Sampdoria and Chievo on Sunday to get a further lowdown on Schick. This wasn’t the first time Tottenham have attended a Sampdoria game this season after the Premier League side were present during their clash with Inter Milan last month.

Tottenham were earlier this week said to be ‘pushing strongly’ to sign the young forward, despite the strong competition.

Schick only arrived in Italy last summer, and has scored 13 goals in 31 games for the Sampdoria.
