Turin newspaper Tuttosport continues to sound pretty confident that Maurizio Sarri is heading to Juventus this summer.
They say the manager is only waiting for a ‘green light’ from Chelsea, who are set to sort his situation in the next few days.
Sarri’s agent Fali Ramadani is to meet club director Marina Granovskaia and agree the details for the exit, making a ‘formal last step’.
Since Sarri has three more years of contract, Chelsea would be looking to get compensation of €8m in case Juve take him from the club.
But since things are being done on friendly terms, the Old Lady could actually make the compensation by buying a couple of players from the Blues.
Tuttosport points out that Emerson Palmieri and Juan Familio Castillo have both shown some ‘nostalgia’ for Italy when returning to the country, and are the ‘main suspects’ to move to Serie A with Sarri this summer.
So with Chelsea not wanting to keep the manager and also looking to make a couple of sales, it seems they’re trying to get the perfect scenario sorted all in one go.
