Earlier today, we covered a story from the Italian media which talked about the fresh chance that Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen could end up having at AS Roma.
Following a poor start with the Serie A side, the player now had the chance to have some time away during the international break and could now have a new opportunity to prove himself at his new club.
Now as Gialllorossi.net shares a story on the comments made by local radios, they highlight some quotes made by Davide Rossi on Rete Sport about the Leeds loanee.
The pundit pointed out that in case Kristensen does not get a chance to play at the weekend, then that could be a quite bad sign of how things will go for him at Roma this season.
“If I were Kristensen on Sunday and I didn’t play, I’d be worried, as there is a cup game on Thursday and he is off the list..,” said Rossi.
“If Karsdorp should play one and Celik the other, then what did you get Kristensen for?”
Kristensen even started the first two games Roma had this season, but was replaced in both of them. Then in the last game against AC Milan, he stayed on the bench and was never brought in.
The player is loaned by Leeds until the end of the season, which could end up being very long if he doesn’t return to the starting line up soon, and has a contract with the Whites until 2027.
