Over the past few months, it’s been clear that sending Kamal Sowah to OHL Leuven for a few years was a great move by Leicester City.

The versatile midfielder has finally showcased his true potential this season by scoring eight goals and assisting another six in 34 league appearances.

Not only that, but he has demonstrated great durability by starting every single Jupiler Pro League game for the club and played all but 17 minutes of the competition.

He recently admitted that his aim was to return to the King Power Stadium to try and break into Brendan Rodgers’ side, but that’s something he might have to wait for.

Not because Leicester don’t want him, but because his current manager, Marc Brys, doesn’t want him to leave.

Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, relayed by Voetbal Primeur, Brys was asked if Sowah could return to the Premier League side.

He replied: “No. I am working on a seduction offensive and it doesn’t seem bad for him to develop further here for another year. But he is hot on the market”.

We’ll have to wait and see what Leicester’s decision is in all this, because if Rodgers wants Sowah in and around his squad, we all know the club will make that happen.
