Everton manager Marco Silva has expressed his desire to sign Watford forward Richarlison and Barcelona full-back Lucas Digne this summer.

The former Hull City boss mentioned Digne and Richarlison are “two possibilities”, but admitted it is “not easy” to bring the duo to Goodison Park in this transfer window.

“There are two possibilities, I will not hide. These are strong ides. Richarlison is an excellent player and Digne is not where he is [Barcelona] by chance. It’s not easy,” Silva told Portuguese channel Sport TV, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

When Silva took charge of the Hornets, he signed the 21-year-old Brazilian from Fluminense. Richarlison had a good start to his life in England and has now emerged as a transfer target for the Merseyside club.

Digne, on the other hand, is open to the idea of leaving the Camp Nou and Barcelona are willing to offload him in this transfer window.

Mundo Deportivo reported on July 21st the Spanish champions are looking for €16.5m plus €4m in bonuses to sanction the sale of their player.

It will be interesting to see how things progress for Everton in their efforts to sign Richarlison and Digne.
