Brescia striker Florian Ayé has revealed his dream to play for Chelsea at some point in the future.

Ayé currently finds himself plying his trade for Brescia in the Italian Serie B, having joined them from Clermont Foot in July 2019.

This year is proving to be something of a breakthrough one for him, with ten goals and four assists in 26 games in the league to his name so far.

Indeed, a strike in the recent clash with Venezia meant he became the first player in the history of the Italian club to score in seven straight league games, a record even the likes of Roberto Baggio couldn’t achieve.

It’s a record that’s worthy of attention and, if he continues to add to his tally between now and the end of the season, talk of move to a bigger club is likely to ramp up.

There is only one big club that Ayé would like to join if he had the choice, though, and that is Chelsea.

“I dream of playing for Chelsea and winning a title like the Premier League or the Champions League,” he told So Foot.

“Sometimes, I even think about it in the middle of the day.  When I was little, my father bought me Arjen Robben’s shirt.

“I always followed Chelsea, my favourite player Didier Drogba went there… I think that only strengthened my attachment to the club.”
