Skov Olsen is one of the many players who have been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
With it being expected that Spurs will spend a relatively large amount this summer, and with Mauricio Pochettino putting public pressure on for incoming transfers, rumours are being encouraged.
The headline grabbing ones involve big-name players who”l be costing €30m+, but there’s been some smaller claims on signings which would be more traditionally Spurs-like.
Olsen is one of those. The 19 year old winger plays for FC Nordsjælland, he wouldn’t break the bank and is an investment for the future.
FC Nordsjælland sport director Carsten V. Jensen has told TV3 there’s widespread interest in the youngster, yet he made sure to say Spurs haven’t been in contact about the transfer.
TV3 quote him as saying: “Just now, 20 clubs have approached us seriously. We have never experienced anything like this.
“I don’t want to exclude Tottenham from wanting to recruit Andreas, but we haven’t heard from the club.”
Jensen also made it clear Olsen will be able to pick the offer best for him, as long as that club provides FC Nordsjælland with a reasonable deal.
