Greek website Sport24.Gr reports Olympiacos midfielder Luka Milivojevic is currently in England ahead of a Crystal Palace medical.
The Serbian midfielder has been the subject of interest from the likes of West Ham and Leicester City but Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace have pushed ahead of everyone to be on the verge of a deadline day deal.
Milivojevic, a 26-year old midfielder, previously stated he’d only leave Olympiacos if the club received an excellent offer and it seems a €15m bid from Crystal Palace is too good to turn down for the Greek champions.
The Serbian Olympiacos captain and his departure to Crystal Palace would certainly leave a big hole in Reds’ midfield. Milivojevic’s last game for Olympicaos came against Veria and after the match he picked up his bags and flew to England for his proposed medical.
Sport24 website also reports Hull City manager Marco Silva has also been very keen on the player, but Milivojevic’s choice is London as he thinks Crystal Palace have a better chance of avoiding relegation.
Milivojevic’s work rate and team ethic should be a boost to the Crystal Palace squad.
