Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim West Bromwich Albion consultant Giuliano Terraneo is interested in bringing Josef de Souza to the Hawthorns.
The Premier League side yesterday confirmed the appointment of Terraneo, who worked at Fenerbahce during the 2015/16 season.
Terraneo was responsible for bringing Sousa to Fenerbahce from Sao Paulo in 2015, and he’s now looking to be reunited with the Brazilian.
Last summer we covered reports from Turkey that West Brom were showing a strong interest in the South American during the closing stages of the last summer window, after claims the Baggies had tabled a bid.
However, West Brom pulled out of the deal at the last minute when they decided to loan Gregorz Krychowiak from PSG.
Fotomac say Fenerbahce board are hopeful they can sell Sousa for €16-17m, which could be an issue for West Brom if they are relegated to the Championship.
Fellow Premier League sides Watford and Stoke City have also been linked with the player in recent months.
