Former West Ham United striker Emmanuel Emenike is dreaming of playing in England, report Fanatik. Emenike was linked with a move to Fulham during the last transfer window.
The Nigerian striker looks set to leave Fenerbahce this summer because their new manager Aykut Kocaman doesn’t see the player in his plans for next season.
Fanatik say Emenike’s agent is currently in England to get his client a transfer ahead of the summer window. It’s been reported the 28-year old is content playing in the Championship if he can’t get a move to the Premier League.
This could come as a boost to Fulham after the West London club tried to sign the Fenerbahce player in January. We covered reports at the time that Emenike was due to fly to England to hold talks with Fulham, but a deal never materialised for the Championship side.
However, with Fulham’s’ failure to get promotion to the Premier League, and Emenike’s wiliness to play in the Championship, the forward could still be a possibility this summer.
