Since Antonio Conte took charge of Chelsea last summer, the club can’t stop being linked to Juventus players. The main name was always Leonardo Bonucci, even after the Blues spent some serious cash to bring David Luiz back from PSG.

Italian website Calcio Mercato comes up with some updates on this chase today, claiming that a bid should be arriving to the Old Lady soon.

It’s claimed that Juventus are demanding €70m, an amount which Manchester City got close to in the last summer window. Chelsea’s first offer, however, is expected to be of €55m.

Bonucci’s agent Alessandro Lucci has flown to London recently and made the Blues aware of the figures. The player’s demands, which are of €7.5m net per season, would be paid with no problems.

Despite being in conversations with Antonio Conte, Bonucci is not forcing his way out of Juventus, and will only make things move after the clubs reach an agreement. The defender is said to be happy in Italy, but a Premier League call will always be considered.
