Fulham have entered the race for FC Basel winger Dan Ndoye, according to reports today.
Fussball Transfers journalist Dominik Schneider is the one bringing to Twitter some details of the race for the 22-year-old.
It’s claimed that Fulham are the latest to join the tussle for Ndoye. French club Olympique Marseille had been the first to make an offer to Basel, while Serie A side Bologna are also interested.
According to Schneider, all three clubs have made ‘concrete efforts’, for the player, but there’s no agreement yet, with them currently discussing personal terms with his entourage.
It’s been just a year since Ndoye joined Basel following a free move from OGC Nice. In his year with the Swiss side, he had seven goals and five assists in 54 appearances, and actually played in multiple positions, especially in midfield.
His contract with his club runs until 2026, and he’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €3.5m.
That means he doesn’t look like an expensive player, but Fulham may have to make a big effort to win the battle against Marseille and Bologna.
