Back in July, we brought you a story revolving around defender Alberto Redondo. The 22-year-old had left Getafe having failed to break into their first team.
He was subsequently on the hunt for a new club, and Foot Mercato were reporting that both Charlton Athletic and Queens Park Rangers were interested in his services.
Both clubs had opened negotiations with the player, and the suggestion was that he would finalise a move by the end of the week.
That was back on the 18th July, but Redondo is yet to find himself a new club, but it seems QPR remain interested in him.
En contact avec Montpellier, Lille et l’ASSE en début de mercato, Alberto Redondo discute avec Brest et un club de L2. Mais le latéral gauche a une grosse touche avec QPR #Mercato #RMCSport

RMC journalist Loïc Tanzi covers the player’s future today and says he was in discussions with Montpellier, Lille and Saint Etienne at the beginning of the transfer window but is now in talks with Brest and a Ligue 2 club.
They are not the only club interested in him, though, with Tanzi saying he also has a concrete option from the Mark Warburton’s side.
There’s no mention of the money involved but it’s clear that QPR are at least still interested in his signature at this moment in time.
