Towards the end of January, we relayed some news from France that a few Premier League sides, in this case Southampton and Cardiff, were thinking about making a move for Jordan D’Ambrosio.
The young striker, who is currently without a club after running down his contract at Sochaux, appears to be doing a tour of Europe in search of a club, with one of his most recent stops being Fulham.
According to Foot Mercato, the 18-year-old was at the Cottagers’ training ground on Tuesday, likely for a trial ahead of Claudio Ranieri’s side potentially handing him a deal, but another club, a rather prestigious one in fact, have also come knocking.
The same outlet explain that Sevilla are expected to come forward with an offer of their own, having previously followed the France U17 international’s progress.
This means that on top of Southampton, Cardiff and now Fulham, Sevilla add themselves to the long list, which is also said to include Barcelona, of options for the young forward.
Not a bad problem to have, especially after he also turned down Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
