French outlets L’Equipe and Paris United bring today incredibily similar stories on the negotiations between Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona for the transfer of Neymar.
They both claim that besides Philippe Coutinho, the Ligue 1 side have been especially interested in two other players: Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele.
Paris United claim that PSG are expecting to get almost €140m in the deal, and Barcelona could still make some sales to gather that money. It’s also said the French side don’t have interest in any player other than the three mentioned above.
But the report from L’Equipe doesn’t sound that optimistic about it. An agent close to the Catalan side has told Barça don’t even have €40m to spend now.
It’s also claimed Barça don’t want either Semedo or Dembele to be included in the deal, so that makes things even more difficult.
L’Equipe says there’s only one way for an agreement to happen. PSG would have to lower their demands a lot, and Barcelona would make to make some sales to raise money for the transfer. Otherwise, Neymar is unlikely to return to the Camp Nou this summer.
