Thilo Kehrer’s current situation at West Ham United seems to be drawing big attention from the transfer market.

The player has been heavily linked to Italian clubs lately, and it’s now time for the French media to say there are a lot more clubs in the race for his signing.

First of all, Foot Mercato came forward today to claim that Rennes, Nice and Monaco are all interested in signing Kehrer from West Ham in January.

Their idea is to initially sign the player on loan until the end of the season. It was said there’s now a ‘fierce battle’ to get him.

Then in a fresh story, the outlet came up saying that Bayern Munich are also interested in Kehrer. They’re in need of adding centre-backs to their squad, and Thomas Tuchel is said to be a fan, planning to speak to him to bring him to the Bundesliga giants.

According to Foot Mercato, West Ham are ‘not opposed’ to the idea of letting him leave in the middle of the season.

Kehrer only has 391 minutes on the pitch with the Hammers this season, and is hopeful that by changing clubs in January, he’ll get a chance to be in Germany’s squad for the Euros.

The battle between Italian, French and German clubs can only make the situation more interesting for him and West Ham, who’ll apparently have many bids to choose from.
