The past few months have been full of Aaron Ramsey rumours. Especially in Italy, where the local press is confident that Juventus will try to sign him very soon.
On Friday, we covered claims from Gazzetta Dello Sport saying the Old Lady have already offered Ramsey a contract, and it was received with ‘great interest’ by his entourage.
Now Calcio Mercato comes up with one more interesting update, this time saying Juve have made the first contact with Arsenal over seeking a January move.
The response, however, wasn’t very good. Despite having Ramsey’s contract expiring at the end of the season, Arsenal are not letting him go if not for a huge offer. That means the Gunners will demand more than the €20m that Juventus thought they would.
But as this was only the first contact, Calcio Mercato believes that Juventus will keep talking to Arsenal until the end of the month. With their wish to sign a midfielder, they will insist to get Ramsey now instead of waiting to sign him for free in the summer.
