Leicester City are interested in signing Eduardo Sasha from Internacional.
The 24-year-old striker, who scored three goals in seven appearances in the Brazilian league this season, is being chased by the Foxes in a deal that should cost them around £13m.
Sasha’s career is managed by the company AGN | R2M, which is headed by the agents Augusto Nogueira and Matheus Assaf.
As Augusto is in Porto Alegre to take care of the negotiations, Matheus had a quick chat with Sport Witness to talk about the player’s situation.
“The interest is true, but nothing official has come to us yet,” Matheus Assaf told Sport Witness.
When asked if Sasha would fancy a move to Leicester, the agent said: “Undoubtedly, it’s a club that is in the world’s showcase after what they did in the Premier League. But Sasha also has the dream of being Brazilian champion for Inter. So he’s focused on this.”
A meeting between the Internacional board and Sasha’s staff will be held tonight, when both parties are expected to make their intentions more clear.
As the Brazilian club are fighting for the title this year, it would be a huge blow to lose their striker, so they’re not going to make any deal easy to happen.
