There’s was no need for Calciomercato to worry so much about the ‘bogeyman’ Wolfsburg and their superior offer for Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu.
The Italian website, and several others in Italy, are now reporting that AC Milan and Everton have reached agreement for the transfer of Deulofeu.
An agreement has been made on a ‘dry’ loan which means it’s a straightforward loan with Milan making no commitment to buy the player in the summer, there’s not even a redemption right been put into the contract.
Depending on the price of the loan it would seem Milan have managed to get Everton to comply with their terms, and it could leave Deulofeu returning to Goodison Park at the end of the loan period.
It’s the type of loan Milan had wanted all along, but Everton had been pushing for some more commitment from the Serie A club.
Calciomercato say the deal has been aired on Milan’s themed channel, and there’s a tweet backing that up.
Mercato, raggiunto l’accordo con l’Everton per Deulofeu: prestito secco fino al 30 giugno 2017.
