AC Milan forward Gianluca Lapadula’s agent is set to hold talks with AC Milan over the future of his client. The Italy international could leave the Serie A side this summer, and he’s again been linked with a move to Everton.
TMW have reported Lapadula’s agent will meet AC Milan’s Alessandro Moggi with regards to the player’s role at the club next season. Signed from Pescara last summer, Lapadula didn’t make the impact expected in his first season with the Italian giants, and his agent will want assurances over his future at the club.
Lapadula staying at AC Milan remains uncertain, and TMW report Everton, along with Genoa, are waiting on the outcome of the meeting.
Earlier this month we covered reports from Italy that Everton could enter talks with AC Milan about signing Lapadula this summer. With Romelu Lukaku widely expected to leave the Merseyside club this summer, Ronald Koeman may need to bring in a forward or two before the deadline.
Despite a disappointing debut season with AC Milan they will still demand €20m for the attacker.
