Celtic youngster Rocco Vata seems to be drawing big interest from Italian clubs.
The 18-year-old’s potential is now highlighted by Calcio Mercato, who claim three Italian sides are interested in his signing.
The outlet writes that Torino, Frosinone and Sampdoria are all ‘ready to clash’ for the Celtic player very soon.
Calcio Mercato says that Vata is ‘one of the brightest promises of British football’, and his abilities are creating a movement in the Italian market.
What makes him such an attractive asset is that his contract with Celtic expires at the end of the season, giving not so big clubs the chance of signing him for free.
It turns out that given the big competition, those sides are set to advance for the signing. The outlet claims that Torino, Frosinone and Sampdoria can move their attempt to ‘as early as January’.
In case Celtic have no hope of renewing Vata’s contract, that could at least give the Hoops a chance of cashing in with his sale, as it seems they won’t be short of bids on the table.
