Fotospor claim Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli recently met with the agent of Huddersfield Town forward Adama Diakhaby to discuss a potential transfer this summer.
It’s reported Diakhaby’s agent has told Comolli his client doesn’t want to play for Huddersfield in the Championship next season and that he’s looking to find him a new club when the transfer window opens.
Fenerbahce are in the market for a striker this summer and Diakhaby could be an option for the Turkish club next season. The Yellow Canaries are going through one of the worst seasons in their history and need to rebuild the squad.
The 22 year old joined Huddersfield Town last summer from AS Monaco but failed to make an impact in the Premier League. Diakhaby made just 12 Premier League appearances for the Terriers in his debut season in England, scoring no goals.
His contract with Huddersfield Town runs until June 2021, although the West Yorkshire club have an option to extend it for one more season.
