In no man’s land at Watford, Marc Navarro has come close to a return to Spain a couple of times, without anything ever materialising.
This time, however, things appear to be different for the Hornets’ right-back, as a loan to Leganes seems to seriously be on the cards, according to AS.
The La Liga club are currently negotiating the terms of the deal with Javi Gracia’s side and while it seems unlikely a deal will be struck before the weekend, the best case scenario is for it to be done ‘next week’.
On the player’s end, it’s reported the agreement between Leganes and Navarro is ‘practically sorted’, and everyone is now ‘depending on Watford’, with sources close to the Spanish outfit explaining it’s ‘entirely in the Premier League club’s hands’.
An option to buy could be included in the season long loan, during which the Madrid based club will ‘assume a good chunk of the salary’, which is said to be above the average in the Spanish league.
Is this finally a way out for Navarro?
