There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas are showing interest in Burnley forward Zeki Amdouni.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Benfica and even though he’ll be returning to Turf Moor it’s likely he will leave again in the summer.

Fotospor have reported on Besiktas’ interest in Amdouni, and they are considering coming in for the player.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær is keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season and could also lose Ciro Immobile and Semih Kilicsoy this summer. Burnley’s goalscoring midfielder Josh Brownhill is also a reported target for the Istanbul side.

It’s claimed the attacker would be interested in a transfer to the Black Eagles, but will also considerer offers from other European clubs.

Besiktas’ fans are also trying to convince the Burnley player over a move this summer and like in the past with other targets they’ve started a hashtag campaign. Another factor is that his father is from Turkey and was born in Trabzon.

Amdouni has made 43 appearances for Benfica this season, scoring nine goals. He’s contracted to Burnley until June 2028.
