On October 5th, Sky Deutschland reported Liverpool ‘recently asked again’ about Red Bull Salzburg star Karim Adeyemi.
It was also stated the 19-year-old’s desire is to move to Germany, where Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund have held talks with his camp.
Sky’s partial claims are backed up Sport1, who then provide their own information on this case.
It’s stated the striker is ‘almost certain’ to leave the Austrian side next summer and the German trio have already initiated contact with his advisors, discussing ‘specific figures’.
Despite several factors favouring clubs in the Bundesliga, Sport1 say he ‘could also move to England’, where Liverpool ‘show interest’ in the Germany international.
With the Reds joining Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig in the transfer race, the report adds Adeyemi and his agent want to take a decision before winter.
His contract runs down in 2024, without any release clause attached to it. As per the report, Red Bull Salzburg will let their prized asset leave for a fee of around €30-35m.
The frontman has enjoyed a good start to the season, managing 11 goals and two assists in 16 matches across all competitions.
