Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot is close to joining Milan, according to claims from Italy on Friday.
Website Calcio Mercato says there are ‘very positive feelings’ about the negotiations, with the clubs in ‘constant contact’ and the Rossoneri are edging towards the signing.
It’s said Manchester United’s intention was to let the player go on a permanent move. And even though Milan’s offer is for a loan with an option to buy, it’s still likely the clubs will find a deal.
Calcio Mercato adds that Roma are interested in the Portuguese fullback as well, but it’s really Milan who are closer to getting him.
It’s reported the Serie A giants recently had an offer turned down, but they’ve now improved their bid for a loan with an option to buy. He says the ‘conviction’ around the signing has now grown and new developments are expected.
Dalot has only played 90 minutes for Manchester United this season, used in the Carabao Cup clash against Brighton this week.
