That comes from the Spanish media, where El Desmarque writes about the difficult fight that Diego Simeone will have to get the 22-year-old signed by Atletico Madrid.
One of the worries the Colchoneros should have is the competition from the Premier League and their ‘almost unlimited’ money, where Wolves are one of the interested clubs, as they are ‘attentive’ to the South Korea international.
Lee has five goals and five assists in 33 appearances for Mallorca this season, and has drawn Atletico Madrid’s attention since his time at Valencia.
In the past couple of years, it has been claimed a number of times that Wolves were interested in the midfielder as well, with the latest stories showing up in November 2022.
The player was signed by Mallorca as a free agent, but is now valued by Transfermarkt at €15m, but is well protected by the La Liga side with a contract until 2025.
