The Neapolitan media is always keeping an eye on the players who once wore that blue shirt, especially those who left the club not so long ago.
This is the case of Allan, who last season moved to Everton, where he met his former Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Now with the manager gone to Real Madrid, there’s been a few rumours saying the midfielder could once again follow the coach, this time in a trip to the Santiago Bernabeu.
So Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli have already gone after that information. The report comes from journalist Valter De Maggio, who on the Radio Goal show, talked about a conversation he had with the Everton player and the ‘revelation’ that he got from the 30-year-old regarding his future.
“I can confess that I had the opportunity to speak with Allan. I asked him about his future also because rumours that they would like him at Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid,” said De Maggio (via Area Napoli).
“He has remained on very good terms with the Reggiolo coach. Allan has revealed to me that his club will be Everton also because he is very happy there.”
Allan is on holiday in Ischia right now, which is an island just off the Naples coast, so that may be how he spoke to him.
The Brazilian made 26 appearances for Everton last season, and only couldn’t play more because of a few injuries. Even though he won’t have Carlo Ancelotti next to him at Goodison Park, it should now be clear he’ll stay there for longer.
His contract with the Toffees runs until 2023.
