Fotospor report Besiktas could be set for a windfall if Arsenal loanee Mohamed Elneny leaves the club in this transfer window.

Last week Elneny’s father spoke to the Egyptian media and claimed his son is in talks with AC Milan. However, this was quickly denied by Besiktas sporting director Ali Naibi, who stated the 27 year old will be staying with the Super Lig side until the end of the season.

However, according to Fotospor, Elneny could still leave the club and Besiktas manager Abdullah Avci is looking to sign a new central midfielder should it happen.

In addition, it’s reported Besiktas will be owed 10% of the transfer fee if Arsenal sell Elneny this month. The Turkish side also have the option to make his move permanent but it’s highly unlikely because of their financial situation.

The former Basel player has been a key man for Abdullah Avci’s team this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions.
