While this summer was one full of arrivals for Everton, it was also one in which they worked hard to clear out the squad as well.
Marcel Brands has been successful in that regard, shipping out the likes of Ademola Lookman, Sandro Ramirez, Nikola Vlasic, Henry Onyekuru and Kevin Mirallas.
One who remains is Yannick Bolasie, even though the club have made it clear there is no future for him at Goodison Park.
The winger has spent last season out on loan at Crystal Palace and then Anderlecht and is not part of Marco Silva’s plans moving forward, but is yet to find himself a new club.
Après l'échec Diagne, Anderlecht a sondé de nouveau Bolasie mais trop compliqué… #Mercato

It seems the latter of those were looking at giving him an escape route out of Everton, however, with France Football journalist Nabil Djellit reporting they made a late bid to sign the 30-year-old.
The Belgian club tried to sign Mbaye Diagne this summer but couldn’t get the forward from Galatasaray so turned their attention to Bolasie instead.
Djellit says they ‘probed’ Everton about a potential return for Bolasie but the deal proved to be too complicated and they’ve seemingly turned their back on the transfer.
This could be the reason why Bolasie appeared to vent some frustration at his situation on social media on Sunday.
