Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Jorge Mendes could help Napoli bring an offer from Manchester United for Victor Osimhen so that he can place Cristiano Ronaldo at the Serie A side.
This is also reported by Tuttosport and they discuss the scenarios in which the Naples club will accept a deal involving the two forwards.
Napoli’s dream to sign the Manchester United star could ‘become reality’. Their president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and Mendes, could find a solution to bring the 37-year-old to Italy.
The operation is ‘very complex’ and involves several parties, starting with the two clubs. A few days ago, it seemed difficult for Ronaldo to join the Serie A side. Tuttosport say that now it has become a viable track due to the work carried out by Mendes.
Tuttosport state all parties are aware of the ‘monstrous operation’ and even the Nigerian’s agent was also informed.
Manchester United would pay €100m to sign the former Lille man and this would be paid over three years. They would also have to offer €10m per year salary to him. The Red Devils wanted to include Ronaldo’s €40m valuation, but Napoli don’t want to compromise on this.
Napoli want €100m for their player and without that, there will be no deal. The report also adds Luciano Spalletti’s side want to sign Ronaldo on a loan deal, with United paying 75% of his wages.
Tuttosport state: ‘The first two months (4 million) have already been paid by Manchester United, for the remaining 20, United should commit to 75% of the same: a fundamental condition for closing the operation that would lead Osimhen to the Red Devils.’
