Club face ‘economic battle’ as Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea put player in their transfer sights

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are being linked to Ismael Bennacer.

The updates come from the Italian media, where journalist Carlo Laudisa had been speaking on Carlo Pellegatti’s Youtube channel (via Milan News).

There, it was claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all put Bennacer ‘in their sights’ following his start to the season with AC Milan.

The midfielder recently changed agents, and according to Laudisa, that’s because he was seeking a salary higher than the €4.5m offered by the Rossoneri.

With his contract expiring in 2024, that’s one of the reasons why Milan now start to worry about his future at the club. It’s claimed that with the player’s requests, this starts to turn into an ‘economic battle’ for the Serie A giants to keep him.

In recent days, we’ve seen claims saying Arsenal had indeed initiated contacts for the signing, also with suggestions saying he had an offer from Liverpool. With Chelsea now added to the tussle, it only becomes clear that Bennacer will be a very disputed player in the upcoming transfer windows.

Conveniently, that should help him in renewal talks.
