For the past few months, maybe even years, it’s been repeatedly claimed that Paris Saint Germain have an interest in Bernardo Silva.
The long-time chase was again a hot topic for the summer window, with the midfielder considering an exit from Manchester City.
It turns out that as French outlet Le Parisien talks about that rumour, they claim the player is no longer in PSG’s plans.
Quizzed about the Manchester City star, he said that PSG are no longer looking for a player to feature on the right side, as they prioritise the arrival of a left-winger, who should be Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. It’s said the Portuguese’s arrival is therefore not a relevant track at the club right now.
In case that’s true, then Silva has one less option this summer. The links with Barcelona carry on, though, but it’s well known that the Catalan side would need a major effort to afford that transfer.
The midfielder’s contract with Manchester City runs until 2026.
