Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Fábio Silva is set to join PSV Eindhoven on loan, with the deal now ‘complete’.

That’s according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who says that Wolves ‘sputtered a bit’ on the deal but it has been done.

Silva has spent the first half of the season on loan with Anderlecht in Belgium, impressing before an apparent fall out with the managerial team.

He has subsequently been linked with a return to Molineux this month, with reports that he could then be sent back out on loan elsewhere as he is not a part of Julen Lopetegui’s plans for the time being.

PSV have been named as his next destination and reports have made it clear that talks were underway between the Dutch club and Wolves over a deal.

Elfrink confirms that is the case, stating that PSV have ‘definitely got’ the Portuguese forward and his loan deal is complete.

Wolves held the matter up slightly but the move is ‘complete’ and he has received ‘confirmation’ from people ‘around the player’.

In other words, his entourage have confirmed he is on the way to Eindhoven for the remainder of the season.

All that appears to be missing is the official confirmation from both sides, which is surely only a matter of time at this point.
