Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele are among the Tottenham Hotspur players left out of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season.

The Italian didn’t include the duo in the north London club’s pre-season trip to South Korea.

Tottenham sent the two players out on loan in January. Villarreal took Lo Celso and his performances have convinced them to make an effort to sign him again this summer.

Unai Emery’s side have held new talks with Spurs for the Argentina international, as per Spanish journalist Xavi Jorquera Márquez.

He states the Yellow Submarine ‘left the meeting with Tottenham very happy’, and have taken an ‘important step’ to sign the former Real Betis man. During the talks between the two clubs, Ndombele and Pervis Estupiñán have also been discussed.

Villarreal like the Frenchman ‘a lot’. The journalist explains a possible swap deal involving the ex-Lyon star and the Ecuador international ‘has been considered’ by the two clubs.

Sergio Reguilón has also not been included in Conte’s plans and an earlier report from Marca indicated Spurs are waiting for his departure to make an approach for Estupiñán.
