Fortuna Düsseldorf sporting director Christian Weber has admitted they will sit down to talk with Watford loanee Kwadwo Baah about his deal at the club.
Baah has been with the German side since the summer, joining them on loan in search of regular playing time away from Vicarage Road.
That has not proven to be the case for him, though, as the Watford man has managed just seven appearances and 60 minutes of playing time in the 2. Bundesliga this season.
Several reports from Germany have made it clear that Düsseldorf are not happy with the loan spell and would be looking to end it this month.
Indeed, a report at the beginning of this month made it clear that the situation around Baah was still ‘unclear’ despite them wanting to end his deal from Watford.
Weber does not confirm as much today, but does insist that he will be talking to the Watford loanee to discuss what he would like to happen.
“We will sit down with him in the training camp,” he told Rheinische Post.
“After that we’ll talk to the adviser and then we’ll see. I already take it that he has tried everything to get himself physically in an even better condition.
“We’ll have to see whether he takes the next step with us or whether he changes his loan.”
