As Fenerbahce director Selahattin Baki recently went on a trip to London to discuss some signings, it seems Chelsea defender Malang Sarr was one of the names in his agenda.

Outlet SuperHaber today features a story about many targets the Turksih side have been seeking, and it’s claimed that there was a meeting with the Blues’ player.

It’s said Baki received a ‘positive response’ in the conversation with Sarr, and he can indeed ‘finish the job’ for a January agreement with Chelsea.

The story claims that Sarr’s career ‘went downhill’ since his move to Stamford Bridge, as his market value used to be of €18m and now stands at €6m.

That makes him an affordable target for Fenerbahce, although there aren’t any details on whether the Istanbul side would like to sign him on a loan or a permanent deal.

Sarr doesn’t have any minutes played for Chelsea this season, so it’s no surprise to see Mauricio Pochettino letting him walk in January. Now it’s up to the Turkish club to place an attractive offer on the table.
