With Barcelona watching Ansu Fati’s loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from close, the Catalan media today shares a new story on the forward.

It’s Sport who today features a piece claiming there’s ‘high degree of concern’ regarding the player’s fitnsess situation.

Fati got injured by the end of November, and as detailed by Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, he’s set to be sidelined for at least three months.

Sport then claims that Barcelona are worried about the situation, with their president Joan Laporta making public his “sadness” regarding that.

Since Brighton have no buying option over Fati, he’s expected to be back at Camp Nou next summer, so it’s crucial for the La Liga side that he does well in his year in the Premier League.

The player is currently in Madrid to treat his muscle injury, and as written by Sport, he’s trying his best to ‘make progress in the recovery’.

Both Barcelona and Brighton seem to agree that he was living his best moment with the Seagulls when the injury happened, and that’s why that was so unfortunate.
