Miralem Pjanić is looking for a way out of Barcelona and the Catalan club could be in favour of his exit this summer, mainly to reduce their wage bill.
Tottenham Hotspur are in the picture and earlier this month, reports from Spain stated the north London club have made contact over signing the midfielder.
This was also reported by AS on Sunday and Mundo Deportivo added that Barca are ready to allow the 31-year-old to leave as a free agent.
Fabio Paratici knows Pjanić very well from his time at Juventus and the Turin club are thought to be his priority.
TuttoMercatoWeb state the La Liga side must cut ties with some of their players [including Pjanić] to lower their salary budget, to offer a new deal to Lionel Messi.
The Bosnian isn’t included in Ronald Koeman’s plans and to get rid of his €7.5m net salary, Barca are ready to let him go out on loan or a permanent transfer.
According to TMW, the player’s will is to return to Juve and play again under Massimiliano Allegri’s orders.
AC Milan and Inter Milan have also asked information, but the Serie A trio will face the ‘main competition’ from the Premier League, where the likes of Tottenham can ‘easily’ sign Pjanić, without even asking him to lower his current annual net salary of €7.5m.
With Tottenham and Italian clubs in the chase for Pjanić, those close to him state his future could be decided in the coming days.
