On April 8th, La Lazio Siamo Noi reported that Allan ‘would like to leave Everton’ and he would also welcome a move to Lazio in the upcoming window.
These claims were further backed up by Il Messaggero a week later, when they stressed the midfielder is ‘ready to free himself’ from the Toffees.
Allan joined Everton from Napoli in 2020, and during his time with the Naples club he played under the orders of Maurizio Sarri.
The former Chelsea manager is currently in charge of Lazio and has set his sights on the Brazil international. That’s according to a latest report from Il Messaggero, who name Allan in a report that mainly focuses on Sergej Milinković-Savić.
Milinković-Savić is set to leave the Serie A side and Sarri has ‘reluctantly accepted’ the Serbian will no longer be at Lazio beyond this season.
The Italian coach has told the Biancocelesti that he wants Milinković-Savić to be ‘replaced’ with a ‘very loyal’ one between Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Allan.
Il Messaggero suggest it would be ‘easier’ for Lazio to take the South American away from Everton than signing Loftus-Cheek.
