With the arrival of Antonio Conte at Chelsea, many expected Juan Cuadrado to return to Stamford Bridge for next season to play as the Italian’s right wing-back.
During Mourinho’s and Guus Hiddink’s time in charge, there was a lot of talk about Juventus buying the player for around €20m, but that all went very quiet, very quickly when the former Italy manager was announced.
Well, according to Tuttosport, a very small window has appeared for the Serie A champions, as even with Conte coming in at Chelsea, the player isn’t enthralled by the idea of returning to London where he didn’t exactly enjoy his time in the Premier League.
The new manager is said to have listened to the player’s side of things, but a decision is yet to be made.
Furthermore, Juventus have also been given information about Chelsea’s Oscar, a long-term target of Max Allegri’s, and the price tag stands at €35m (£30m).
It seems like some business could, once again, be on the cards between the two clubs this summer.
